The Chinese Society for Vocational and Technical Education (CSTVE) was founded in December 1990, is engaged in vocational and technical education related work of enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals to form a national, academic, non-profit academic social groups at the national level. It is a national, academic, non-profit and academic social organization at the national level, and accepts the management and business guidance of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

Foreign Language Education Committee, CSTVE was established on December 18, 2020, to help build a foreign language think tank by organizing international high-level forums and publishing reports on the foreign language industry. The Foreign Language Education Committee commits to set up foreign language topics and carry out Belt and Road research, to deepen the academic foundation and promote the transformation of achievements; to develop a series of teaching materials for the new era, to carry out the construction of the VETS standard, and to organize domestic and international teacher training, and to explore the construction of a standard system for foreign language teaching and training in vocational education. The Committee aims to establish a standard system for vocational education and talent cultivation and to build a research platform for vocational foreign language education, with the reform of teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods as the core focus, top-level design, development of standards, establishment of demonstrations and popularization of application as the path, and relying on academic research, standard development, conferences and seminars, development of teaching materials and teachers' training, to carry out in-depth research and exchanges in the field of foreign language and internationalization, and to bring into full play the roles of a think-tank, a platform, a bridge and a standard, so as to promote the connection of foreign language education to industry and to promote the development of foreign language education. It will give full play to the roles of think tank, platform, bridge and standard, promote the docking of foreign language education with the integration of industry and education, and make every effort to promote the modernization and internationalization of vocational education in the new era.
